If you’ve dropped into The Highball on a Monday night recenty, you may have noticed the slick sounds coming from the ballroom. A while ago, we designated every other Monday night to be The Republic of Texas Big Band Night, and that means that every other week The Highball transforms into something else entirely. The atmosphere changes and everyone in the room is drawn to the stage. Adorable couples are dancing with real dance moves and style and finesse, and the singers continue to croon. You really feel like you’re in another era, and drinking an Old Fashion feels just right.

Come out and see these guys. There’s never a cover, and who knows, maybe you’ll pick up a few new moves or a dance partner or two. The band goes on at 8pm every other Monday, we’ll see you there!
