Two teams. One night. You decide the winner!

In this first time ever event, you will see your city’s best poets representing their home venues, Austin Poetry Slam ND and Austin Neo-Soul, and battling it out for the title of Cross-City Champions. The first 50 tickets will receive a free Austin Poetry Slam 2010 Team CD with original works from Danny Strack, Christopher Lee Daniels, Lacey Roop, Tova Charles and Seth Walker.

Enjoy our silent auction with prizes from great local businesses including the San Francisco Bakery and more! Stick around after the slam for a DJ dance party with crowd favorite, Monkey.

All proceeds will go to benefit the Austin Poetry Slam and Austin Neo Soul teams in their journey to the National Poetry Slam 2010 in St. Paul, MN.

Tickets: $8 online, $12 at the door.
